Secretorum Quest Rooms is a creative immersive design studio. Company was founded in 2015 in Lviv, Ukraine. From the very beginning, our mission has been to develop new formats of intellectual entertainment that combine original design, sensory mechanics, unique storylines, and emotional experiences that fully immerse players in a fictional world.
The name “Secretorum” comes from the Latin word secretum — “mystery.” We intentionally chose this meaning to reflect the deeper essence of our work: each room is not just a game, but a complete story, a puzzle, and an atmosphere that embraces the player from the very first moment.
Our Story
Our journey began with a passion for games such as Syberia, Myst, and other cult titles of the interactive genre. In 2014–2015, we decided to bring that kind of experience into the real world—and became the first creators of original escape rooms in Lviv.
We formed a team, invested our savings, worked through nights and weekends, and eventually opened the first Secretorum escape room, which became one of the earliest original intellectual adventure experiences in the city.

Over the years, Secretorum has evolved into an international company specializing in the design, development, and implementation of immersive experiences in escape rooms:

One of our most recognized projects is “The Dark Room” — a sensory immersive experience that became innovative in the genre and was later reproduced in the United States, demonstrating its strong influence and uniqueness.

Concept and Story Development
We craft narratives that allow the player not simply to solve puzzles but to live through the story and interact with the environment.
Atmosphere and Environmental Design
Every space is built by hand: original decorations, carefully planned lighting, sensory elements, antique objects, and custom-made mechanical components.
Balancing Challenge and Emotion
Our puzzles are adaptive—they engage both experienced teams and newcomers, including players aged 14+.
International Accessibility
We design rooms so that anyone can play regardless of language. Logic, design, and mechanics are intuitive and universal.
Our Philosophy
We create escape rooms that players want to return to.
Each of our rooms is a living world where:

We use unique props—from handcrafted elements to rare antiques sourced from auctions. This forms Secretorum’s signature design style.
